Driven by demand, global production continues to grow (0.8%), but at a slower pace than between 2021 and 2022 (7.4%). Asian countries are the most active producers (China, India, and Indonesia). In contrast, the United States is slowing down its production, due to the rise of shale hydrocarbons. In Europe, Poland has recorded a decline of nearly 7%.
